About Volve

Volve is the AI platform built for construction teams. The tender phase is where projects are won, lost, and over-committed to. We built Volve for that work. The platform takes the messy, document-heavy work at the front of every project (tender review, bid compliance, contract risk, change and claim management) and turns it into structured outputs teams can act on across projects, with the reasoning traceable behind every line.

We’re growing across Norway, the Nordics, and Europe, and the platform has already analyzed more than 2000 real projects. We are now hiring our first Construction Tender Specialist to own product quality and define what “correct” means across our tender review features.

The role

You own the product quality for our tender review features. You decide what good looks like, prove it with examples, and work with our engineers to get the system there. The role evolves as we build, so you shape it as much as we do.

In practice, you will:

• Sit with the AI engineers. They build, you test against how a real reviewer would think. Together, you iterate on approaches and methodologies. You decide what passes.

• Build the test set from real tender examples. This becomes the ground truth that the product is measured against.

• Write the rules. What counts as a conflict between general and special conditions, how hierarchy resolution works, and what "compliant" means under different setups. Your judgment becomes the spec.

• Stay close to customers. Weekly calls, site visits. Bring errors and new possibilities found back into product enhancements.

• Set the quality roadmap with the founders. You decide what gets attention next.

• Be a key part of product direction, with key contributions to the product roadmap and the methodologies for new features.

You will collaborate daily with the founders, our AI engineering and product team, and Customer Success. You should be comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a small senior team. Much of the structure is in place, but you are expected to continuously learn, adapt, and improve how we build.

Who we think you are

What matters: you’ve reviewed enough construction tenders to know where the traps are, and you can see what AI could change about this work. You want to be in the room when it gets built, not watching from the side.

• Several years reviewing tender packages, client- or contractor-side.

• You know the NS contract standard suite (or similar like AB, NEC, FIDIC), and can resolve a conflict between general and special conditions without thinking about it.

• You can take an uncertain judgment ("this clause is risky given the rest of the package") and write it down clearly enough that someone else can apply it.

• You like working with software and are curious about how AI handles (or fails at) the work you do. Comfortable in tools like Excel and Notion. Willing to pick up SQL or basic scripting.

• Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English.

• You want autonomy and don't need a structured org chart to do good work.
